Snow!!!

This is how most of January was spent...

Every once in awhile everyone was well enough to get out and about. Here's the clan getting all geared up to go ice skating. This was Natalie's first go; it lasted about 2 minutes.

At least her daddy could say he tried!

Natalie's just not as into winter sports as the guys are..

She'd rather be putting her babies to bed!

With Cal's bum leg, indoor tennis passed the time well.

A little fro yo after getting blood drawn; Cal held his arm that way the rest of the day.

Trip to Bread Co to get a "rainbow cookie" before Cal's follow up doctor appointment

Following in her family's footsteps- many a business trip were taken to Brown Shoe!

And of course, January wouldn't have been complete without being knighted by Nonno!

Fourth year to see the trains at the Gardens- a Christmas must!

Nellie girl is all smiles when we go visit the guinea hens at the park while Cal is at school!

We finally learned about the glue gun trick- no more falling gingerbread houses here!

Cookies and Carols at the Art Museum with Meemaw- another item on the Christmas to-do list

We stretched "Christmas morning" into about four mornings. Every now and then it just made sense to open a couple presents!

Watching my mom comb Natalie's hair in the bath with that big pick instantly took me back to being a little girl playing in my grandmother's drawer of combs and brushes. Makes me miss that lady!
