Happy 2nd Birthday, Natalie Kay!

My big two-year-old started the day by ripping into all of her presents.

Next on the agenda was a fun morning celebrating with our playgroup friends

 followed by a visit from Nonno.

 We ended the day with a dinner with Meemaw and Mac.

So overwhelmingly blessed to have this little girl in our lives!

Had to document my children's 1st batter licking experience; Cal kept calling it ice cream

Here's my little chef cutting up some swiss chard and mushrooms for dinner.  I've been offending him for three years every time I put those vegetables on his plate, but a little peer pressure at school during a "make soup project" and now he reminds me to buy spinach and mushrooms when I go to the store!

I think you got it all, Nellie girl!

Snow!!!

This is how most of January was spent...

Every once in awhile everyone was well enough to get out and about. Here's the clan getting all geared up to go ice skating. This was Natalie's first go; it lasted about 2 minutes.

At least her daddy could say he tried!

Natalie's just not as into winter sports as the guys are..

She'd rather be putting her babies to bed!

With Cal's bum leg, indoor tennis passed the time well.

A little fro yo after getting blood drawn; Cal held his arm that way the rest of the day.

Trip to Bread Co to get a "rainbow cookie" before Cal's follow up doctor appointment

Following in her family's footsteps- many a business trip were taken to Brown Shoe!

And of course, January wouldn't have been complete without being knighted by Nonno!
