Welcome Calvin Montgomery!

This morning at 3:26 AM our son Calvin was born. Weighing in at 8 pounds and 4 ounces this little bundle of joy is the reason why Ariana and I have not slept in 36 hours. We praise God for his health and for the constant aid and training of the many folks at Missouri Baptist Hospital. I was most proud of Ariana for her strength and stamina in delivering Cal naturally in under nine hours! Had the Lord not answered many prayers for great nurses and for Ari's ability to concentrate on breathing and other naturopathic methods for pain management this would not have happened. Our prayer now is that God would equip us to be good stewards of this blessing and that Cal's life would enable us to better demonstrate the Gospel and bring glory and honor to our Father in heaven.

Say Goodbye to the Big Belly

Today I made up a song for Ari called, "Say Goodbye to the Big Belly" and have enjoyed chasing her around the house for short stints. She is so cute when she wakes up from a nap, it's irresistible not to kiss and squeeze her over and over.
